60, 90 or 120 Minute Massage: How Long to Book

Sixty minutes can go deep on one area or lighter over the full body. More than one area, or a first visit, suits 90. Picking a length at our Westchase studio.

Book 60 minutes for deeper work on one area, or a lighter pass over the full body. Book 90 minutes for more than one area, a full body session, or a first visit. Book 120 minutes to work the whole body fairly in depth.

Every session at our studio in Westchase, Tampa costs the same rate: $100 for 60 minutes, $150 for 90 and $200 for 120. So the question is only how much time your body needs.

The quick guide

Length Price Good for
60 minutes $100 One area in more depth, like the upper body, or the full body if you ask
90 minutes $150 More than one area, full body work, or a first visit
120 minutes $200 The whole body, fairly in depth

How long for each session

Deep Tissue (Pressure and Relief). For a first visit, or more than one area, 90 minutes. Warming up takes time, and 90 gives the deeper work room without rushing. For one spot, 60 minutes is enough. 120 minutes covers the full body with extra time where you need it most.

Therapeutic (The Hands). One area usually needs about an hour of focused work. Book 90 if two areas are bothering you.

Neck and Shoulder (Head and Neck Relief). 60 minutes covers the neck, shoulders and scalp, and it is what most people book. 90 minutes adds the upper back and arms. 120 adds your low back and hips.

Relaxation (Relax and Soothe). Full body work needs time, and 90 minutes lets it flow without rushing.

Is 60 minutes enough?

Yes, and it is not limited to one spot. Sixty minutes can go deeper on a narrow area, like the upper body, or cover the full body if you ask. A full body massage in 60 minutes means every area gets a little time. A therapeutic hour on one area means that area gets all of it. If two or more areas are tight, 90 minutes usually serves you better.

What about a first visit?

We suggest 90 minutes for a first visit, or more than one area. Every session starts with a conversation about where it is tight, what makes it worse and how firm you like the pressure. Warming up takes time too, and 90 minutes gives the work room without rushing.

If you are torn between two sessions, book 60 minutes of either, and we can adjust in the room.

Does running late cut my time?

No. An extra 15 minutes is built in after every session, so a few minutes behind will not cut your time on the table. A quick text helps.

Still not sure?

The Which Massage page asks where it hurts, how firm you like the pressure and whether it is your first visit, then suggests a session and a length. Or text us at 813.797.0406.
