Is this for you?

Maybe it is the knot under your shoulder blade that is there every morning. Or a low back that tightens after a day at the desk, a weekend of lifting kids, or a long drive on the Veterans. You stretch, it eases, and by Thursday it is back.

A lighter massage feels nice but does not reach it. Deep tissue goes slower and deeper. We warm the area first, find where the tension actually sits, and work into it as the muscle allows, never forcing it.

It is our most requested session, and the studio is minutes away if you live or work around Westchase, Tampa.

If you have a long-standing muscle pain in any part of your body - And can tolerate some intense pressure to help alleviate it - Huan is your man. In addition to a full body, deep tissue massage, he offers the unique Hands service, zeroing in on the areas giving you the most trouble Sure they get the thorough treatment. They deserve, rather than a little bit of attention before moving on to areas you may not care about. I’ve carried discomfort in my neck and shoulders for years, and had to resist the urge to cry out more than once During the service, but I am Amazed that the results.

Questions about this session

Does deep tissue massage hurt?

It should feel firm, not painful. We warm the area first, then work deeper as the muscle allows. Some spots may feel intense, and that is normal, but you control the pressure the whole time. We would rather go slower and deeper than force it.

How long should a deep tissue massage be?

For a first visit, or more than one area, 90 minutes. Warming up takes time, and 90 gives the deeper work room without rushing. Sixty minutes can go deeper on one area, or cover the full body if you ask. 120 minutes covers the full body with extra time where you need it most.

How is deep tissue different from therapeutic massage?

Deep tissue is about pressure. Therapeutic is about focus. In a therapeutic session you pick the one area bothering you most, and we spend the whole session there with whatever pressure it needs. If several areas are tight, book Deep Tissue.

Will I be sore afterward?

Some people feel a little sore for a day or so, like after a workout, especially after deeper work. Drinking water, moving gently and a warm shower usually help.

Do you do myofascial release?

Yes. We use deep tissue and myofascial release where needed inside our sessions, rather than selling it as a separate service. Book Deep Tissue or Therapeutic and tell us where it is tight.

Tell us where the knot is. We will take it slow and deep.
