Is this for you?

Some tension lives in one place. One shoulder that will not let go, a hip that tightens every time you sit, a forearm that aches after a week of typing or lifting. A full body massage gives that spot a few extra minutes at the end, and it is back by the weekend.

In a therapeutic session you pick the area, and we spend the whole hour there: the spot itself and the muscles around it that pull on it. We use whatever pressure it needs, lighter or firmer, and we check in as we go.

The studio is in Westchase, Tampa, minutes from Citrus Park Mall.

What clients say about focused work

A great experience getting a massage by Huan! Had a lot of stress recently and my neck was pretty jacked. Not usually comfortable getting massages but had a previous massage by Huan a while ago and he was the person I trusted most to help get the knots out of my neck. I got a 60 min The Hands - Restorative massage so that I could get specific focus for my neck and I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. The amount of pressure used during the massage was perfect and I left feeling rejuvenated and with no neck pain at all! Definitely planning to come back regularly!

Just had my first massage with Huan and all I can say is WOW! He is an incredible therapist- took the time to ask me about my needs, likes, dislikes and his technique shows that he clearly knows what he is doing.

My shoulder pain was plaguing me for almost a year and the work he did has me feeling better than I have been in a long time!

I think I just found a diamond of a massage therapist! I will be back.

Questions about this session

What is therapeutic massage?

It is the whole session on one stubborn area, not five extra minutes at the end of a full body massage. Clients book it for a shoulder that has been tight for weeks, one side of the neck, a hip that stays tight, or forearms from typing or lifting.

How is therapeutic massage different from deep tissue?

Deep tissue is about pressure. Therapeutic is about focus. You pick the one area bothering you most, and we spend the whole session there, the spot itself and the muscles around it. We use whatever pressure that area needs, lighter or firmer.

Does therapeutic massage hurt?

It should not. We check in on pressure as we work, and we use whatever the area needs. If anything feels like too much, say so and we adjust right away.

Can I change the area once the session starts?

Yes. If something else is bothering you that day, tell us. It is your session.

Can massage help an injury?

Massage is not a treatment for injuries or medical conditions. If you are recovering from something, check with your doctor first. If something sounds like more than massage should handle, we will tell you.

Pick the one spot that bothers you most. We will give it the whole hour.
